Maintaining your golf cart's windscreen clean is crucial for both appearance and safety as a dirty windscreen is useless. Maintaining a clean golf cart windscreen will increase its lifespan and make driving more secure.

Yet washing the windscreen of a golf cart differs from washing the windscreen of a car.

  • While cleaning the windscreens, avoid using paper towels or newspapers. These substances can damage the windscreen and impair vision. The windscreen can be dried with a gentle towel.
  • For your golf cart's windscreen, stay away from utilising glass cleaners and other chemicals like insect repellant. Your windscreen may become permanently fogged by these cleaners. Always use a cleaning designed especially for the windscreen of the golf cart.
  • Use mild soap and warm water instead of running out of golf cart windscreen cleaner. Wipe it down with a gentle towel after cleaning.
  1. Roll-up Windshield: Windshields that roll up are adaptable. You will be protected from wind and rain by this windscreen. These are quite simple to set up and take down, which is fantastic.
  2. Fold-Down Windshield: Windshields that fold down are more durable than those that roll up. To let some wind inside the cart, these windscreens can be folded up or down. To slightly expand the golf cart, these windscreens are made of two sections that can be folded down on a hinge. Moreover, a fold-down windscreen gives you the choice of UV-protected hinges.
  3. One-Piece Windshield: While they come in one solid piece, one-piece windscreens have the appearance of fold-down windscreens. It cannot be folded in half like the fold-down option can.
  4. Winged Windshield: Wind and rain-resistant wing-shaped windscreens screen occupants from the elements.

Acrylic glass, polycarbonate, or a combination of the two can be used to make golf cart windscreens. The main component of a golf cart windscreen is acrylic, a durable plastic. It is more scratch-resistant but not particularly resilient.

Strong, more resilient, but less stretch-resistant material is polycarbonate.

Acrylic and polycarbonate are sometimes used to make windscreens, which provides greater resistance than acrylic alone and greater scratch resistance than polycarbonate alone.

Determine the make, model, and year of your golf cart. The windscreen of a golf cart typically has a thickness of 3/16" or 1/4". The windshield's resistance to damage increases with its thickness.

We offer a variety of windscreen styles that vary in thickness and colour. Your driving circumstances, tastes, and budget will determine which is ideal for you.
